Clinical Supervision

Clinical Supervision

We offer clinical supervision to qualified and trainee psychotherapists, CBT therapists (by BABCP accredited supervisor), Counselling Psychologists and Clinical Psychologists and therapists working in associated areas.

Both Greg Mackenzie and Kathy White are trained in more than one therapeutic modality and so can supervise ‘purely’ in one therapy modality when helpful, as well as offer a more integrated approach, as is useful to the supervisee and their clients. Both of us have years of experience of tailoring our supervisory styles to meet the needs of different therapists.

Greg Mackenzie is currently supervising CBT (BABCP accredited), person-centered counselling and integrative psychotherapy. Greg is an integrative psychotherapist, CBT therapist and has worked as a senior practitioner within busy primary and secondary care mental health services. Last year Greg was Clinical Lead of a large NHS IAPT service, and he now works part-time within the NHS and part-time privately.

Kathy White, Clinical Psychologist, specialises in offering supervision in relation to clients experiencing sexual problems, and in relation to clients who have difficulties related to living with HIV, herpes or other aspects of their sexual health. She particularly enjoys supervising from a post-Milan systemic perspective, integrating evidenced-based sex therapy techniques.

Rather like therapy, we think a ‘fit’ between supervisor and supervisee is essential, and so call or email us to see if we could offer you useful supervision which meets what you’re looking for.
